  1. I'd be a tad worried. How old is she? If she does it again I'd probably ask a vet about it. If she's old then she might just be hitting that point in life where stuff like that happens. Could have been just an accident, though, if she doesn't do it again then it's probably fine.
  2. Was that video a joke? I don't watch this roast stuff but I thought the video was kinda funny, especially if it was real... They should have given him the eggs...
  3. throw a raw steak on the ground a couple feet out into the yard and see what happens. No dog could be scared with that smell around. That being said, she'll get used to it over time and nothing happening (so make damn sure she doesn't get into a fight with a raccoon). She's probably just scared of new smells. Mix in there the raccoons and she doesn't like it so much but after a while hers and your scents will be all over the place, stronger than the raccoons and anything else and she'll be fine. A lot of animals are like this when they relocate, though bigger dogs are usually fine with it since they can take out most things that would attack them. Then again, most little dogs I've run into share that same opinion I think. Either way, she'll get better and start going outside, you just have to wait a bit for her to get used to all the new smells and to propagate her smell. Another thing, get her to pee all over the place during the day when she'll go outside, make sure she spreads it around and marks that territory good. Eventually that will outrank racoon or mike pee and all will be well.
  4. Steph and I saw it over the weekend. Awesome movie, I loved it. I loved the first batman and jack as the joker and I didn't think, regardless of what anyone said, that heath could pull it off but he blew good old nicholson away. Also didn't like the bat-voice. Harvey's face at the end was wicked.
  5. wow, people must hate him pretty bad. His stand up comedy just isn't funny but does he really deserve this much hate (and if so, please explain, I'm not up on the bob saget hating...)

You have a mac jakis? I did not know that. Last time we were TO way you had a PC I thought...

There's a real easy solution, get a real computer -> PC (ooooooo, ducks). Just kidding, http://www.attblueroom.com/help/mac.php Do you have these correct versions: System Requirements - Mac OS X version 10.3.9 or later - QuickTime version 6.5 or later Also, what browser are you using? Safari or Firefox? Use Firefox... If you search google you might find that Safari and Camino have some problems although something tells me it's user computer related as I think they all use the same plugins (could be very wrong there...) Hope that helps. I have no mac, I have a PC so everything just works
  8. Yup. I think I was mostly bottle fed. We're lucky in that little Trey loves the boobs and had no problem with the latch. We actually tried bottles once so that I could have a hand in feeding him but he doesn't like them and would have none of it. He'd rather get the milk from a spoon which has worked when we're gone and someone else has to feed him or if Steph goes out, etc...
  9. Little Trey drinks his milk out of organic bottles (boobs) and water out of sippy or regular cups but I think glass bottles are the way to go. The only problem with them is that if they are like anything else, at least with Trey, they will be dropped all the time as that is his favorite past-time which means potential broken glass... Is it all guys posting in here? wow
  10. lol, no cloth diapers in my house. mattm doesn't like poop and even the laudry people don't come everyday (I don't think anyway) which means there's poop lying around in some pail just waiting to get out and attack me.
  11. Have a little monster or two running around the house? Paying lots for diapers and worried about environmental impact? Check these out: gDiapers Biodegradable, woo hoo, you can even compost them. We saw them at the environmental fair thing a couple months ago (maybe more than a couple, it was a while back) and have seen them at stores as well. Watch them break down (movie): break-down movie Not all that expensive either. $30 for the starter kit (one pair of the pants and 10 refills) and then $20 for 32 refills (prices are rounded up a couple dollars). Just thought I'd mention it as I know there are a couple people on here with little ones (or with little ones coming soon, congrats forbin and mellie)
  12. I emailed moe. one time to ask how much it would cost to have them come up here, off tour, for a private show and they said $20 000 or so. Half way there...
  13. The only problem with lists like this is that the dudes that have these songs hosted will, because of the list and mass downloads it will provoke, most likely get into trouble, even though they only meant to share the files with a few people. I had some movies I put on my old website to share with myself and some dude found them and added them to a list like this. Needless to say it took a bit of begging to get away with just having the website shut down, all my stuff deleted and and being banned from that hosting company forever. They pointed out that legal action would have been quite easy (my files being mass downloaded damn near shutdown one of their servers). On the other hand, these are all hosted on file sharing sites so it's not as bad but there's still a good chance that the people who uploaded the songs be punished, whether they have their accounts deleted or have legal action taken against them. The songs might be good but they were most likely never supposed to be traded and so I won't download from a list like this ever, though you guys are free to do as you will, just remember, how much would you like to be fined if all you wanted to do was share some files with some buddies. That being said, please don't come back with stupid it's their fault answers, I don't care and won't read them anyway since I won't click this forum link again, just putting out some information to let you do with as you wish.
  14. Not necessarily, I meant sex: co·i·tus (k-ts, k--) n. Sexual union between a male and a female involving insertion of the penis into the vagina. Sex nowadays can be between two men, two women, etc and though it's not always an act of love, it often is and is the act, other than restling, which brings humans closest together in a, most of the time, non-violent way. Though pro-creation does require coitus. Well, then again we can probably make babies in test-tubes but unless you are an uber scientist geek that will be no fun at all
  15. I did look it up actually and also don't like that idea...
  16. that many police... with paintball guns. Ok, I can see a group of forest rangers dudes maybe being bored and patrolling together (not really) but with their paintball guns at the ready (paintball guns with pepper balls which are not used to stop animals, they are used to break up gatherings of people).
  17. Finally someone sees this. lol Democrats might let this go but then who knows. In a place where sex, the fundamental act to create life and extend the existence of human beings not to mention the primary act of love, is considered taboo and distasteful yet guns and violence are glorified one might find some other odd behaviors such as legal alcohol and illegal pot.
  18. We also eat chicken and veal animals in cages kinda sucks I think and the food industry that lots of people ignore is pretty bad I also think but I'm quite guilty of wanting a steak for dinner. Though I wouldn't eat dog if you've ever been to asia you'd have noticed that unlike here, there are many, many more dogs, stray ones, running around in the streets and most places don't really have them for pets I think.
  19. Just to add the paragraph from wikipedia which follows the one dima just put up. Hmmm, do they always patrol in groups of 10 or just when there is a gathering of hippies? I bet if they investigated a bit further they'd find way more hits than that at the place.

    socks

    lol, good point
  21. To be honest, I was thinking the same thing. I didn't see any shots in any of the videos I watched (2 of them) and the cops looked more like they were the ones getting kicked out so perhaps you are on to something there.

    socks

socks suck, barefeet is where it's at. People think I'm funny cause I walk around the office in bare feet but whatever, it's way more comfortable.
  23. Whatever. It might be true but you don't point guns at and definately don't shoot children, doesn't matter if they are poor or their parents are lost. Granted if the parents are all fucked up maybe social services should step in but you don't shoot children. Now, the dirty hippies on the other hand, well, if they are trespassing and have been told not to be there then a couple rubber bullets ain't the end of the world...
