    Headphones

http://www.homedepot.ca/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CatalogSearchResultView?D=900957&Ntt=900957&catalogId=10051&langId=-15&storeId=10051&Dx=mode+matchallpartial&Ntx=mode+matchall&recN=0&N=0&Ntk=P_PartNumber Those are roughly the ones steph and I got and they work fine and fit his little tiny head... There he is right there, sleeping away during Franti... (not the best picture but it was on cell at night)
  2. I watched a couple videos and the only terrorists I saw were wearing uniforms
  3. Anyone have an extra one they wouldn't mind parting with for as cheap as possible? Steph's sister is up with 3 kids and though they get in free, unfortunately she doesn't and not only is she too broke to buy one but we're pretty stuck too. If you have an extra ticket and can't make it tonight, let us know...
  4. I can't get that link to work and can't find it on the mv page.
  5. I thought it was tomorrow but it's 11:59pm tonight which makes it today when the sun is furthest from the earth... PS: That's UTC so here it's 6:59pm which is coming soon, woohoooooo!!! I can't wait for summer!!
  6. I don't think I like this new copyright law. One thing I don't like is: So, if you think up something really sweet to get engraved on a ring, the minute you get it engraved you lose the copyright on it? Or do they get to keep the ring, who knows but a picture of me is mine unless I say otherwise which means if this passes then unless professional photographers put in their contract that I own the material, they don't get my business. I don't like that you have to watch dvd's on dvd mediums. It's much better performance wise to rip them to hard drive and watch them on that. Physical media such as disks can have all sorts of problems like getting scratched and having to get up off your ass to put a new movie in sucks (yes, that might be called lazy but if the technology is there for me to have a library in a central location controlled remotely, why can't I have it?). Think this thing will pass?
  7. Same, and same if they kill my little guy and any little guy/gal that might come in the future. And to whoever asked if I believe in the death penalty, it all depends. There are some people that I firmly believe have forfeited the right to live and quite frankly I don't like paying for them to stay in jail but the circumstances need to be pretty dire which I'm not getting into and I don't want to change the topic of this. For this guy, he was a repeat offender and he isn't going to change or he would have, it's too late now but it's not too late to punish the living shit out of him and make one hell of an example out of him in doing it. Basically, with a verdict like this the law has basically said that you can murder someone if you like, all you have to do is to drink a whole tonne and then go out and hit them with your car and you'll only get a slap on the wrist so if you need to off someone, don't go the way of the gun, go the way of the drunk.
  8. Woo hoo, my first fathers day, in just a couple years my little guy will be old enough to stand out in the rain while his dad's roast cooks slowly on the bbq. It was fun, though they should make a nice cheap rotisserie motor that can be run in the rain without the umbrella.
  9. Personally I agree with bouche up there in that if you try to kill someone then you should be charged as if you had killed them. I also think that if you tried to kill someone and then had that guilt streak and tried to save them, you should get a slightly less penalty as the incentive or whatever but not much since you intended to kill the person in the first place and if you can get up the nerve to kill someone then you can probably do it again and really, I don't want you around, whether you succeeded or not. Back on topic, I think that 5 years for that guys is way, way too light. He should have been charged with man-slaughter or even second degree murder. We all know that you can kill people when driving drunk. BUT, what if you did drive drunk and you're tire blew and you killed someone. If you'd been sober, your tire would still have blown and you'd probably still have killed the same person, the only difference is that you're drunk and therefore susceptible to more hatred and labelling. Last year some truck had a chunk of metal come off on the 417 that basically took a guy's head off. Was the owner of the truck a murderer? He did just as bad a thing by not checking the truck but they are not going to press charges even if they find the guy. Some family is out 1 dad because of this but no one will be charged. If the person who owns the truck was found to be drunk, would they be more guilty or less? Should they be charged or not? I think they should, I also think I'm even more confused than I was before. Conclusion: The bastard should fry, she was 17 and full of life and he was old and degenerate and it's not friggin fair!!!
  10. Can I join up with this sueing? We dropped bell about a year and a half ago. We get calls every week, flyers in the mail, emails, everything, asking us to switch back. It bugs the living poop out of me. The calls come on the weekend, during the week, anytime. The mail almost bothers me the most as it's such an insult to the environment, arrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! I wish there was a law against telemarketing and junk mail, it's intrusive and hurts the environment. Now, I hear you plagued by them trying to send you a tech, that's way worse. At least we just say no, or fuck off, or something on those lines and they hang up the phone but they've never gone so far as to want to "fix" our bell shit. I hate bell.
  11. funny how they still sell cigarettes.
  12. lol, can't find this anywhere (in mainstream media, some blogs are talking about it). Shows you where the media have their allegiances. Won't this be too late? When's the next election and doesn't something like this take time?
  13. any computer you want. if you use the account from too many different computers in too short a time they will change your password and then all you have to do is use the forget password link and have it reset, just a precaution and usually they take into account distance (i.e. florida one day then japan and then ottawa and they will change the password...). I pay the $13 to get more gigs and 100 days retention which I think is plenty worth it. I've actually been a customer for over a decade now I think ounce I realized what newsgroups had to offer... There is a bit of a learning curve, though, but it's not difficult and you can find any info on google (any info on any topic ever, actually). PS: Careful where you download stuff. If you download at, say, work and what you're downloading isn't all that legal, well, I guarantee you there's a clause in your contract stating they can check exactly what you do on the internet (to avoid bad PR).
  14. fucking eh! phish is coming, woooooooo hoooooooooooo. Nothing makes me feel like phish does and all that negativity sucks balls, keep it quiet, if you don't like them then go skulk in the corner reminiscing and let life continue with the best band ever!!!
  15. When downlading: 1. easynews 2. use google to find files in rapidshare and just use free download (though it's faster if you pay) 3. if you absolutely have to, resort to torrents. this recipe is easy and it doesn't require any bitching whatsoever.

you want to take them to church for the weekend?
  17. I concur, just get a new computer. My desktop is slow too and I really want a new one...
  18. c'mon, it's still pretty funny, he's probably over it by now and if he really cared he'd get it to come up babylon or something like that...
  19. Your problem is not one of fragmentation and that will only really affect the speed of loading big files that are fragmented (in other words you will not notice a big difference after defragging). Backup all your data and reinstall windows and your computer will be fast again. If you don't want to reinstall windows, get a friend to do it and then have them make sure there isn't a tonne of crap loading at startup (Start->Run, type msconfig, go to the startup tab and then google each thing in there to see if you need it or not then shut off all the crap like things that automatically run update checks and quicktime/adobe crap...). Basically, your computer is fine, your windows installation has too much shit going on in it. If your computer fails, it will fail way harder like not booting or making lots of loud noise or blue screens of death.
  20. We'll be there and are really looking forward to this also, it's been awhile since we've seen them and since we've been out together. Rents are down babysitting, woohoo! And Brad let us know when your done that first Scotch cause we'll be getting you the second. Thanks also for the help a few weeks ago. See you there, bring your dancing shoes! Steph (logged into matt..oops)
