I realize that Al Gore and the filmmakers are getting heaps of praise for this film, and rightly so. But David Suzuki on The Nature Of Things and the late Bob Hunter (to name a few) have been reporting and producing stories global warming for decades - and presented in accessible ways media wise.

I described the film as 'sobering' not depresssing, and I think it's acurate. Anyone without wearing blinders in this country has been conditioned and educated about the world's plight by the media/gov't/society over the last decade or more, so nothing in the film is too overwhelming or shocking to the point of slashing your wrists.

I think I posted this months ago when this comp was announced. I'm glad you've listened to it. I guess you skipped Jack Johnson and Jakob Dylan. If not, how bad are they on this CD?

It sold out within 90 minutes. I tried to get tickets via phone and internet for an hour when the box office opened. I saw the movie last night. It was a sobering experience, but still entertaining.

I have a good HD set-up at home. The mix was pretty good given the bad weather. Symbol's guitar and vocals were up high, but man, that little creep can rip the fuck out of the guitar. He combines nasty flash with technical flair.

Prince delivered the best guitar on any sports themed event period.

I really love The Raconteurs album, but the video for "Level" done live was one of the best rock videos I've heard in quite a while, and it's a more potent song in the video than on record.

Here's some good Office news: Ed Helms has been promoted to full-time member of "The Office." According to HollywoodReporter.com, the actor, who portrays recurring character Andy Bernard, is now a regular. Helms has previously worked with "Office" co-star Steve Carell on the "Daily Show," and will appear alongside him in the feature film "Evan Almighty," the sequel to "Bruce Almighty."

That's because you are stupid. I don't laugh out loud too often because I don't normally LOL during any program.

I thought it was a pretty good episode from the handful I've watched this year. I'm liking it better each time out (from not being able to watch it in season I due to my love of the BBC Office). I don't laugh out loud too often, but it's well written for sure.

Back to PC, it should stay cheap because it is already a big corporation. It'll be pretty hard to buy them out.
