Del
It looks like no YMSB in Toronto or Ottawa, which kind of sucks. On the upside, the Ottawa show is only $20 US...
Basher
FYI, the Toronto ticket price includes the trip there and back on the ferry. You have to assume that TicketMaster will be selling tickets at a later date, which should save a bunch on shpping charges from the States. TheGoodRev
It looks like no YMSB in Toronto or Ottawa, which kind of sucks.Yar. I wonder what their deal is. Well it'll still be a good show.
MamaPink
make sure you catch the ferry back! Damn, this looks sweet - and great prices too.
deranger
I'm guessing in terms of YMSB, but when musicians aren't allowed into Canada it usually means they have a criminal record.
Del
I don't think anyone has said they can't play in Canada... It just seems like they're skipping the two Canadian dates. While it might entirely be because of criminal records, I don't think we should speculate about anything until they explain the reason for themselves... bouche
i heard that american banjo skins are made from feral cats and those are completely banned in canada.that's all i'm sayin'oh, and I've had a couple of glasses of wine, so I may be talkin' shit
SaggyBalls
i was wondering what that aroma was in here...
dave-O
I would guess that New Monsoon won't be playing these shows now...
thatpatguy
so how is the Ottawa show working in terms of Bluesfest tickets.. has that been covered already and I missed it?
secondtube
a tuesday eh? damn, and i wanted to see keller again. do u know when the times each artist will be playing will be posted?
Basher
As far as the Schedule goes, SCI is slated to close, and the rest is TBA. Show starts at 3PM, and with the last ferry leaving the island at 11:45PM you gotta think the show will end around 11. I would put good money on Keller playing right before SCI. fluffhead77
I would imagine the show would finish way before 11 so no everybody is trying to get on the ferry at once before the last one leaves...I'm guessing 10pm finish Edited April 20, 2005 by Guest
MoMack
Got an email back from YMSB and they say there is still a slight chance of coming here.... its probably a paperwork issue??As for the order. my guess is Keller does a short set between Spearhead and SCI. ie. the old setbreak set while they set up and tear down... secondtube
a tweener for keller?that sucks. give the man a full set. he deserves it. i bet more people here want to see him than SCI. anyways, i think i'll decide once the schedule is posted....Work till five that day....couldn't get there probably until 6:30 (at the earliest).... Basher
Keller will be getting a full set. Keller has a lot of stuff to set up and tear down as well.
phunkyb
Just ordered tixs for 2 nights Chicago and Toronto, can't wait!
MoMack
I didn't say it wouldn't be full... just that it is easier then setting up a whole band etc...(although, at a risk of creating enemies, I'm not sure I want him to have a full set unless it was in the afternoon... saw him at Roots and Blues in Australia for a festival. He takes a long time to set the songs up, playing all the different loops and whatnot. Good stuff, but not "giv'er" stuff, for me anyways...) CyberHippie
How much Amy? Do they ding ya with ya service charges/handling fees/mail charges?
MoMack
Just because I'm in a mood... Most people "here" might want to see Keller. But I'll be most people on the island either a) have never heard of him or have never heard him. Just a guess... could be wrong... but I'd think SCI and Franti sell all the tickets to this shindig. phunkyb
trevor, I ordered 5 tickets. Total was 447.95, looks like there was 7.95 added per order and I think a $40 service charge.Oh, that is only for the 2 night Chicago pass.
CyberHippie
I'd think most most people going to see SCI and Spearhead would at least know of Keller. Just a hunch though.
phunkyb
I agree with trevor. I think most people who are going to see the show have heard of all bands. Small community and all bands have been a staple on the festival circuit for sometime now.
