A Good Day at the Office!

Well, it was a good day last Thursday too...when I was offered an acting CS-02 position (I'm currently a CS-01)...but today it was carved in stone! I'll be transferring downtown on Monday where I will get comfortable in the new environment for 4 months, and then comes the pay raise! booyeah baby!

This comes with mixed emotion though...I absolutely loooovvve where I am now. It will be sad to say goodbye to so many wonderful people, and I can only hope that my new clients will be half as great as my current clients. But I was starting to get a little too comfortable in this job...the work just hasn't been challenging for quite awhile.

Pros:

- temporary (with opportunity to compete for) promotion

- new challenges/experience

- $$$$!!! yay $$$!

- downtown: Bluesfest, here I come!

- downtown: lunch with Booche and friends

- downtown: 1 bus to work

Cons:

- I'm going to miss so many people

- I don't think I'll have a window in my office anymore

I guess it was an easier decision than I thought...!

Congrats Lynn! I'm so excited for you. I'm stuck in this rotten office until October 15th so I must resort to living vicariously through my buddies. Way to go girl!!!

Downtown eh? Does this mean you'll be on the ice cream truck's route? Yeah!

P.S. What a great shot of you two! Awwwww...

CONGRATS Lynn!

We can do lunch!

I also had a great day yesterday, got a new job that is just bigger and better in every way so I am sharing your joy....

Mind you, I'm in a bit of pain, sprung for a celebratory case last night and polished it off with the residents of that place....ouch.

Talk about jealous...all my life I've wanted to be a CS02. Well, ever since the position of C3PO was taken.

You mean the position of chatty gay robot?

(Congrats Hux!)
