hamilton
Ryan Adams & The Cardinals, "The Hardest Part".I think a surefire method of getting rid of the song that's in your head is to start singing along to "Tom's Diner" by Suzanne Vega. You know, doo-doo-doo-doo, doo-doo-doo-doo, doodoo-doo-doo-doo-doodoo-doooooo... works every time!Unfortunately, I'm not too sure how to get "Tom's Diner" out of your head, because it inevitably gets stuck there after exorcising whatever song was stuck there in the first place. StoneMtn
I had to revive this thread today, because I am going insane with White Cowbell Oklahoma's "Shot A Gamblin' Man" running through my head all day. Of course, though, I'm not lucky enough to have the whole song play through in my mind. Instead, I just keep hearing in my head:Shot a gamblin' man up in Reno. Now I'm smokin' marijuana down in Mendecino.Driving me nuts!
Jaimoe
I was talking about WKRP at work the other day and now I can't get that Hoyt Axton song out of my head, Della & The Dealer - he sang it over and over in the great episode where he wanted to marry Jennifer, but Jennifer said she was already married to Johnny. Oops! I believe the correct spelling is Mahna Mahna for any Muppet Show purists out there. Which reminds me has anyone seen my Kermit the Frog puppet?
