bagochips
As cold as you can get it, is my preference. Right now I'm enjoying one of these lovely treats.
bradm
I think I've got two Sgt. Major IPA from Scotch Irish Brewing in the fridge at home, and I know the bottles are sad because they've been separated from the rest of the already-consumed six-pack; I can hear their faint, sorrowful whimpering in the deep quiet of the night.Aloha,Brad

ollie
Really? Thanks Ollie. I've been looking for those! I must have been on crack when I saw those Anchor Steam 6-packs because when I went back Saturday I couldn't find them anywhere. Unless you bought them all? bagochips
No I didn't make it down there yet. I've only seen the Liberty available in Ottawa. I have fond memories of drinking Steam ale at Specs on Mission St in SF, though, and would love to try it again.
ollie
I've definitely seen the Steam in town before. I'll actually buy some though before I post my next "sighting".

ollie
Had some beer from the Dieu du ciel brewery in Montreal on the weekend. Really some of the best new beer I've had in years. This one was my favourite, tasting very much like an American IPA, a flavour I find lacking in Canadian microbeers: This had the spicy taste of a Belgian beer but was much better balanced than others I've had in the style: Both are 6.5% abv but they could also double as session beers. Highly recommended. Thorgnor
My folks (ie my Dad) got me a bottle of this for Xmas- it was delicious. Strong rich earthy flavours, reminiscent of a unibroue- possibly Maudite. You wouldn't wanna drink 20 of them in one sitting though  I've got one of these but I've had it for two ears... think it's still good? Why has no one mentioned Red Cap stubbies? dave-O
I brought some of these home from NS (as well as some Propeller and McAuslan) last weekend. I'm usually a big Garrison fan, but these are nothing special.
