DIRECTIONS:

Directions to The Lanc from Toronto and the East:

- Highway 401 West

- exit onto Highway 8 to Kitchener/Waterloo

- exit onto Highway 85 to Waterloo

- take the Bridgeport Road exit and at the stop sign turn left onto Bridgeport Road

- turn left at the lights onto Lancaster Street

- look for The Lancaster Tavern ("The Lanc") on the right … there is a boat docked in the air … you'll see it!

Directions from the West:

(Note: I don’t usually go this way but I think these directions work best from the West. Could someone please correct these if they are wrong!)

- Highway 401 East

- get off at Highway 8 to Kitchener

- this puts you on sort of a city street but don't worry

- follow this road until you come to Maple Grove Road (you will see McDonald’s and Pioneer Sports World to the right) and turn right

- go under the bridge and then turn left onto Highway 8 to Kitchener/Waterloo

- exit onto Highway 85 to Waterloo

- take the Bridgeport Road exit and at the stop sign turn left onto Bridgeport Road

- turn left at the lights onto Lancaster Street

- look for The Lancaster Tavern ("The Lanc") on the right … there is a boat docked in the air … you'll see it!

A special announcement regarding this gig.

The bad news is Drawbar (fatties keyboard player) is going to be away, skiing with his family. THe good news is Tyler (the original fatties keyboard player) is flying in from Vancouver, and will be playing the full show with the boys!!!!!

This brings me great excitement. This is a real and rare treat folks. Any of you old schoolers out there will remember Tyler and his talent.

Very much looking forward to this weekend!

Peace,

sara

I had the fortunate experience of seeing him play with Todd, Deanna (former Fatties singer from a way back), and some of the boys from The Masses in the summer. Good times indeed. Also saw him play recently with another band he ventures with out in Vancouver. He can still certainly tickle that "ivory".

That being said, Ty has not played with all the boys from the Fat Cats since New Years in Canmore (four years ago). Which means the other guys in the band will be SUPER stoked to play with him, and their extra enthusiasm can only mean good things!!
