AdamH
Don't know if this has been posted yet but here's the layout for the Bluesfest at LeBreton:
gentlemonkey
That looks cool- but driving by the plaza area the other day, we thought it looked a little small. Maybe its hard to judge vs. the plaza at city hall, but it doesnt seem to have a tremendous amount of extra space. regardless, I cant wait for this... you volunteering Adam? Niplit
What's the deal with volunteering for the fest? I'd love to catch as many shows as I can, but I still have to work most days...
Ms Zimmy
I volunteer, go to their website and fill out the form. You need to volunteer 5 time slots (I think) and you get in free all of bluesfest.I'm pretty excited for this!
AdamH
It used to 6 slots but maybe that changed. Yeah I am volunteering backstage again and no, I don't know anything about performers yet.

mattm
I'm pretty sure it's still 6 to get in free. I volunteered last year and tried for the backstage and stuff but ended up with the beer tent. It wasn't so bad but to tell the truth it would have been better to just pay the money. I had to miss too many shows.
Niplit
how does it work? you buy one pass which gets you into everything? or per show?
AD
yes and yesyou can buy weekend passes (there are two weekends), whole event passes (the two weekends and the week in between), or individual day passes. there are probably other ticket options, but those are the main ones. Davey Boy 2.0
doesn't it seem like the 2 main stages face each other directly?!? how is that not going to create sound problems? Hopefully they won't both be used at the same time
LJFH
I live at Bay and Albert and this is totally awesome for me. I can walk there in about 5 minutes and can go home if I feel like it to drink, pee, eat or whatever...and bring my friends along!!

It might also prevent some folks from camping out all day in their lawnchairs if there are acts on both stages that they want to see.
Davey Boy 2.0
I'm buying an extra lawnchair to plant at the opposite stage while i'm siting down reading my paper at the stage where someone will no doubt try to block my view of the band i'm kinda trying to watch

Hundreds of lawnchair people sitting and staring at an empty stage because they won't give up "their spot".
bagochips
Does anybody else see a problem with the two main stages facing each other across a field? Remember the problem with sonic bleeding the first year at City Hall? This could result in some seriously bad-sounding shows.
