boiler
This worked out pretty good for me last year. People were on the dance floor all night. It's important to try to stay somewhat neutral but it's always fun to slip in a few tunes the "older" types won't quite understand, but if it has a beat, they'll dance anyway. Be prepared to adjust the play order or skip some tunes depending on the mood. It took me months of work to get my playlist together, it was a lot of fun putting it together.Hope it helps. Here's a sample of what homelife was like:Q:"Chris, don't you ever take those headphones off?"A:"You want to have the perfect wedding don't you"heheTurn Me On Norah JonesSail Away David GraySeptember Earth Wind and Fire Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours Stevie Wonder Sugar Sugar The Archies The Harder They Come Jimmy CliffI Feel The Same Way Too The Rankins My Boogie Shoes Kool & The Gang Crabwalk NeroBoogie On Reggae Woman Stevie WonderBouncing Around The Room Phish laura (simone) scissor sisters Celtic Fiddle Irish Folk Bird Dance Funkin Shoes Burt Neilson Band I Got A Woman Ray Charles Good Good Lovin' James Brown Honky Cat Elton John Do The BearcatDavid Wilcox Crazy Gnarls Berkley Meatroll Diesel Dog Don't Rock the Juke Box Allan Jacksonnakedfirst mix Wiser Morning Bound Train The Rankins Just My Imagination The Temptations All Diesel DogFreaker By The Speaker Keller WilliamsWasn't That A Party Irish Rovers I Got The Feelin' James Brown Billie Jean Michael Jackson Home For A Rest Spirit Of The West Shakedown Street Grateful Dead Swamp Music Lynyrd Skynyrd Stuck In The Middle With You Stealers WheelCape Breton Medley Leahy[color:purple]She Caught the KatyBlues Brothers Still Is Still Moving To Me Toots & The Maytals Feat. bradm
Great setlist! Any chance you could make that available for an MP3 download?I could but where would I put it to make it downloadable? You could put all the MP3 files (and maybe a text info file) into a ZIP archive, and upload it tohttp://www.sendspace.comwhere it'd sit for maybe a week or so (IIRC). The upload will end up giving you a link you can give to people, where they can download the ZIP file from.Aloha,Brad
Kanada Kev
Yup, sendspace it like bradm said. If it's not too much, that is. I noticed I've deleted some of the cornier songs from my computer but I just went ahead and replaced them with some better tunes. Enjoy. No time to make a text file for it though. shakedown.zip Anything you'd like in return? I've got access to the CBC music library here You have any of the Stan Rogers CBC recordings?
