Booche
WHOA! Dinghy with a charge in there. Pick with your head dude. Cheer with your heart. Pitt - 6 Det - 6 Edited May 9, 2008 by Guest added picks
dave-O
I'm the only one who picked Philly last round, I'd like to see them pull this out (from worst to first), but I just can't see it. Especially now that Timonen is gone for the year. Maybe if they pound Pitts early? The Pens just have too many weapons and Philly doesn't look to have enough shut-down guys to contain them. dave-O
I should also tell you that I picked up Scottie Upshall in my roto pool for that final game against Mtl. Good times!
AD
Kimmo Timonen out for the series with a blood clot. Shit.

TheSloth
Pens 7 (Philly's got heart but I think Pens will survive)Det 5 (as long as they keep that traffic in front of Turco like they did last night - they schooled the Stars, but then again so did the refs)

Jaimoe
Pretty sloppy first period with Philly gift-wrapping two goals, but the sloppy play makes for an entertaining game.
dave-O
I don't know WTF Ribeiro was thinking at the end there last night, but Osgood going down like he was shot and then telling the media he was "a little sore" is disgusting and embarrassing. hamilton
On the TSN website, they zoomed in on Osgood butt-ending Ribeiro in the chops as he went past the net. Not that that excuses the slash, but at least it kind of explains why he did it.
Kanada Kev
Butt-end by Osgoode or not, that slash was ridiculous! Come on ... especially that high (over the net). Goalies flop better than any other players (I'm sure Osgoode has learned from the master ... Hasek). It'd be nice to see Dallas make a little something out of this series. dave-O
Please Philly, find a way to win tonight. I'd like to see at least one series with some suspense beyond the first round this year.
Hal Johnson
No kidding. Starting to look like even a Det-Pitt final would see the Wings dominate. (just cause of depth and experience). But, really, wtf do I know?
Kanada Kev
I'm not expecting much from the Flyers tonight. Aside from some aggressive play right from the start, it will depend upon penalties and how the refs let them play. Looking for Roberts and LaRoque to take care of Downie and Hatcher if needed GO PENS GO I can see both series as sweeps (maybe Philly can eek out one) let them rest a bit and then have a doozy of a Stanley Cup Final (fingers crossed)
Booche
From my Hab-perspective, I havent expected much from the Flyers this entire series.......especially with their injury issues on D.Oh yeah, I made another 25$ bet. Buddy at work is convinced the Pens are winning the Cup. I offered the bet about 3 seconds later.
