bradm
I may come to Toronto for this, and make it be the end of a nice three-night middle-of-the-week run: DoneFors at the Cameron House on Tuesday, Folk Alarm at the Trane Studio on Wednesday, then Sisters Euclid and HPD at Rivoli.Aloha,Brad
YearsAlongTheSea
I feel like I ought to check out the Sisters. Yatch is the same night though and I got tickets from my cousin for X-Mas; may be a mandatory performance. Hope to make it out...
zero
Okay I'm likely gonna do an interview to promote this show but seriously Jayman, I love you guy, but do you have to squeeze your band on every bill.

boiler
Let the man play zero, fer Gawd's sake. He's just doing what he loves. Perhaps Jay playing might help pay some of the bills to do what he does?

zero
I've got lots of love for Jay, so much that I spent way to many hours on this interview with Kevin Breit and Ian deSouza of Sisters Euclid.I hope you enjoy it I've been dying for the answers to these questions for ages and to hear Kevin describe Jerry's tone and style on the guitar is pretty frigging awesome. Northern Wish
Okay I'm likely gonna do an interview to promote this show but seriously Jayman, I love you guy, but do you have to squeeze your band on every bill. Pick your battles Luke, I saw HPD last week in Ottawa and they were superb. A very short set leading into the Bob Marley tribute night, that I would have liked to have seen another hour of. edger
I've always enjoyed HPD too. Having said that I think three bands on a bill for a weeknight is pushing it.This ol' gal would be more likely to check this show out if I knew the Sisters would get on earlier. Jay Funk Dawg
show starts at 9 pm ... two short sets... then one long Kevin Breit & The Sisters set starting at 11pm
zero
This ol' gal would be more likely to check this show out if I knew the Sisters would get on earlier. My thoughts exactly. I also think it's pointless to book an act of their magnitude and then make them start later to accomodate other bands. As far as picking my battles, I respect what you're saying, but there's no incentive to. Truthfully the reason you don't read music journalism like my Sisters interview is it doesn't pay. Even if this were a paid piece which obviously it wasn't I spent way too much time on it. You'd have to be an overeducated and clearly passionate prick with no self respect to churn out stuff like that. You'd also be broke.
boiler
I'm gonna like working close to the city again. You can count me in, haven't seen the Sisters in a long time. Who else is going?
boiler
What's the deal on Electric Meat? I youtubed Electric Meat and was only able to find a one man band with a guy that looks about 14. Same guy?
