  1. Oops, hockey. But you should kinda know that DB
  2. Hard not to feel happy for Mike Danton...it really is a great sports story. Acadia (#4 in country at season end) thought they had a legit shot once #1 ranked UNB got beat out earlier in the playoffs, but St Mary's came out of nowhere and swept Acadia, never looked back. They just won their first ever national championship.
  3. What's going on? I haven't had time to check this in a loooong time. If you have no games left I guess it makes sense to drop those guys to fill up on position players that you still have room for...not really fair though for those fighting for top spot who don't get the waiver pick up... This is why I'm more partial to keeper leagues where you have to "buy" players, regulates this type of thing instinctively.
  4. ahahahahah...it's funny because its true... Congrats, btw, Daveyboy. Had no idea you did this type of thing.
  5. Kansas down by 10 to # 9 N Iowa!
  6. Hey Ollie, this along the same lines...first click this, http://www.ru1000.org/ for the sole purpose of getting to "From RU1000: A Letter to the Freshmen". Once there, click on the link, " campus remained in a state of total deterioration." It's an interesting look at university sports, all sparked by the guy who originally wrote a book called "Spoilsport." http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/28/opinion/nyregionopinions/28NJdowling.html
  7. Meeting with Gm's and coaches + Cambell watching from the stands = bodies hit the floor? Lucic may fight Cooke. It will be short and sweet and unsatisfying to everyone.
  8. "You don't find porn in bushes anymore" Davey Boy 2.0
  9. ::cough:: Bullshit!::cough:: I do not believe you roller. Not one bit.
  10. Ya, I saw that too. I'm surprised all hell didn't break loose.
  11. I believe the answer is four. There are four queefs in a quaff.
  12. Corey Haim is only dead in Canada. Still has a huge presence south of the border.
  13. I'm watching it right now, and you guys are absolutely right - on every account! I think this show wins for most gratuitous use of the background boob. Seriously, the extras in this have no shame whatsoever.
  14. You know what? Rugby is the only sport I think I haven't played, even recreationally. I've always regretted it, because now Im waaaayyyy too out of shape to try it out. I bet you are completely done for right now, hahaha. BTW, I met a couple of guys from Chatham at one of Joni's party's (Near KW) last summer who played for probably the same team. Can't remember their names off hand, but friends of C-Towns. Really good dudes. They had a game the next day and Im pretty sure one of them ended up skipping out on it, hahahaha! Have fun man!
  15. I'd also guess that when the Olympics are held anywhere in Europe they are within a reasonable driving distance from a plethora of other countries, therefore making it easier to have a more diverse crowd. The only other people able to drive to these games were Americans, and I guarantee not many of them anticipated their team playing for the gold (even they should have - the team was made up of some wicked talent.)
  16. My tip is to stay away from the program if you think it will result in something like this.
  17. Haha, that was the scariest thing I've seen in a long time.
