  1. wish I was going ... looks like it will be pretty easy for you all to enjoy yourselves... hope you do!
  2. Lucky you! He's got a mighty fine grin.
  3. I love this man too! Huge fan. Maybe I would have made it out for panic had I known... One of my all-time highlights was seeing him play at the Comfort Zone with Jazz is Dead years back. Ever since then I was sold...
  4. I wish I could go to this show in a BIG way! Anyone who is on the fence should definitely check them out!
  5. I was there for a couple of late Sat. afternoon sets. Was able to catch the Stand Up Guys. They were fantastic. Made my afternoon sitting out in the sun in such an initmate setting listening to great tunes with my son and friends. He was really enjoying himself. Ended off the afternoon with Doug Feaver...a nice way to end off an afternoon. Wished that I could have been around for the remainder of the night/weekend, but I opted for moving on and headed north with Rowen for the rest of the long weekend. Great seeing all of the folks (albeit few in numbers) that I did see.
  6. Sorry I'm late too! All the best to you dude. Always a pleasure crossing paths, and hoping to do so at Gratefulfest (if not before).
  7. Sending out the love vibes to TimmyB! Hope we get to see you soon!
  8. I think you would dig Cornmeal actually...just sayin'
  9. Yeah, those poor coldplay paupers...
  10. Is there a schedule up for this yet? Maybe I'll check the website... it's "always" up-to-date...
  11. Me likey some of their songs too. I've even seen them in concert (ducks) and it was fairly enjoyable.
  12. While I'm not a Kanye fan, I can't imagine ever putting forth the effort (or disrespect) to boo anyone. If you're tired and cranky go to bed for crying out loud... or move along. From personal experience there is "never" any lack of something to do while at the Roo. And is Robert Randolph two or something?
  13. Sounds cool. You guys (and bands in general) should play early gigs more often. I'd come down with my little guy for sure! Looking forward to seeing you play over the summer (within one of your 86,000 collaborations anyhow)

A challenging situation all around. Many great points throughout this thread. The one below stuck out to me the most, as these plant closures are only the beginning of the consequences that will be felt within a time of such widespread change.
  15. In case you hadn't heard... tommorow folks.
  16. Happy birthday to ya Ed! Hope you have a blast this weekend.
  17. Miss you Greg! It's been a while. Happy birthday to you sir.
  18. Good times. I was in good company. Only real complaint was how late they went on... but things happen. Once they did get up there I had a great time. I thought they sounded great (despite the fact they were sans bass player)... still a nice full sound and very easy to move to. Love riddin those riddems for sure! Nice to have some reggae in the Hammer. We don't get enough of that.
  19. Guess I shouldn't have pulled up an old thread to advertise for tonight... as the show is tonight (friday) not saturday... not sure how/whether I can edit the thread title.
  20. Well the time has come... snuck up on me. Riddim Riders tonight at PJC folks. My sisters and I will be there! Very much lookin' forward to a night out! Any ideas on what time RRs will hit the stage, kc? Briguy? See y'all tonight.
  21. happy birthday baj! hope to see you at gratefulfest as well!
  22. Much love to all three of you! We have got to get our youngins' together soon for a formal introduction. Hope to cross your path soon!
