snarfmaster C
don't forget wassabi ya, i agree. it's important to have some time when you can pass out in your tent to get some rest and not feel like you're missing out on anything. i would love to have a night of cuff the duke, the spades, the john henry's, joel plaskett. of course the slip would be ideal. well, three nights of the slip would be ideal, really. and definitely stephen franke &nftts. freakin it on a hot afternoon --- all afternoon. YA!

Jay Funk Dawg
"Jazz Mandolin Project" former drummer Gabe Jarrett didn't have much good to say about the new Jazz Mandolin Project... although I am a big fan. LOL Good one. If I was a geologist, I would say: My sediments EXACTLY! I'd just be happy to see one band on the list who we DON'T see all the time...not that there's anything wrong with the local talent. But an up & coming U.S. band would be a nice treat. guigsy
I'd like to see the Slip and Duo paring !! dude, i was just about to post that 2 nights of the burt's headlining, with the Duo closing out the sunday would be pretty killer... now, a Slip/Duo paring to close out the sunday??? "i left my brains at izzy's, and all i got was this nasty rash" - schwa, t-shirt time! actually, when i first went to izzy's, i didnt think there was any way in hell that the slip should ever play there... but after going to ice cream truck, my opinion has changed. i think if given a proper 3 or so hours to fu©k with us, with that big tree, and the atmosphere it creates in that nook, the slip would be a really great choice... but i always worry about the sound at CTMF's... i've seen a few good sets go to sh!t because the sound was fu©ked. hmm.. i wonder how long this surprise me mr. davis tour will extend... come together is only 6 or so weeks after the tour is supposed to start... MarcO
just spend the entire booking budget on The Slip and leave it at that.

But an up & coming U.S. band would be a nice treat. i kind of agree with that... i mean, these lists are nice, but realistically... we're probably gonna see 75% of the same bands anyways... but instead of an up and coming US band, why not a canadian band? not necessarily a 'jamband' - but a good fu©king canadian rock band, that really isnt that far removed from this scene, anyways, like say... Broken Social Scene Do Make Say Think Arcade Fire Stars Martin Tielli & Operation Infinite Justice etc etc etc... some quality 'daytime'-ish acts... creeking tree... don ross... neil young... acoustic lauzon... you know, stuff thats nice to lay in the grass and listen to... i dunno... its ctmf... it always ends up being about the party anyways. the most fun i had seeing music last year at a ctmf was the filipowitsch campfire jam...
