CatPhish
Like all things in our life these days wake up time is determined by 10 month old Hollyfor the past couple of weeks wake up time has been between 5:00 and 5:30. this has ment Zombie-like, grumpy mornings for all. With a little routine change and nap adjustment I hope, ( finger's crossed, knock on wood, good vibes plese) that we have started a new sleeping in trend. For the past two mornings Holly has been sleeping till 7:30 and waking up playing happily in her crib. This means I can make a tea, brush my teeth and hair and actually open my eyes before my day begins. Lets hope this continues.

Dr_Evil_Mouse
Wakeup is, on average, at 6:15; am wobbly and shakey till my second or third coffee, which leaves my more alert and fraught with anxiety.I look back with fondness on the days I could afford the time for a nap.Luckily, though, my students usually seem even more sleepy than me. bradm
On weekdays, I get up between 6:00am and 7:00am; my alarm is set for 7:00am. On weekends, I give myself the luxury of an extra hour, and get up between 7:00am and 8:00am. I'm rarely groggy/wobbly when I get up.As for napping, I'm hard-core. On weekend mornings after shows, I'll get out of bed by 8:00am, have breakfast, and go back to bed by, say, 8:15am, arising again by about 10:00am. An after-lunch nap (usually 12:00pm to 3:00pm or 4:00pm) is also an essential in my world on weekends.Aloha,Brad

Booche
At 7am I am awakened by the best alarm clock in the world but a typical morning sees me stumbling around until I lock the door on our way out.
KarinGarage
wow, i'm sorry for all of you. today, i got up early (7am), but usually if i get up before noon, i'm happy with that. granted, i don't go to work until 5 or 6pm, though, and usually work till about 2am. still, i'd much rather work late than get up early! rubberdinghy
9:00-9:30-I'm usually in a pretty decent mood. Today my sleep in was halted a little early due to some unknown noise. Having this little extra time before work is a bonus.

Northern Wish
About 4 minutes before my alarm clock:6:48 give or take a few secondsI spring to life out of bed like some kind of yoga master, but that sputters quickly between my feet hitting the floor and the shower being turned on.I am out the door by 7:10 and just try not to look back. MarcO
I set the alarm for 7:30 but bash the snooze until 8. I fucking hate it and I have never gotten used to it.Funny enough, give me the day off and I'll happily be up at 7:45.
bradm
I have never used the snooze button. If I need more sleep, an extra 10 minutes is not going to help; I either crank the alarm forward 20 or 30 minutes, or get up anyway.Aloha,Brad
zero
Apart from being chronically broke and everything that goes with that I guess I'm digging the full time writer's life. I sort of get up whenever I want but that's often 7:30 cause I like to get going with stuff and read the papers. Suckers!

It's gonna suck no matter what. So why not just set your alarm for the time you really want to wake up?
