Most of what the TV gets used for is an embarrassingly large collection of movies in .avi. There's also a Wii that gets used about once a month if the kids remember we have it.I like not watching commercials. I want all that time back from when I was a kid. There are only two current shows that I make a point of watching (The Office and 30 Rock) so I just watch both of them online. The only thing I miss is being able to watch sports, but I waste way too much time when I have a TV, so I choose to live without one most of the time. Had one when I lived in Toronto for a few years with rabbit ears; Left it behind when I moved to Gods country. VHS collection + old VCR is still in the moving boxes.
