AC/DC all the way. They were more important in the 70's, better that the Toxic Twins in the 80's and can can out-rock them now.

Even in the early 80's, AC/DC never lost their way, even with a new lead singer.

And AC/DC didn't need to collaborate with a rap band to resurrect their career either. They never brought in cheeseball songwriter and producer Desmond Child to polish their songs into sure-fire radio-friendly fodder either.

And AC/DC doesn't have albums as bad as Night in the Ruts, Rock in a Hard Place and everything after Pump.

And AC/DC is AC/DC, even if it's new. There are clearly two Aerosmiths: "old Aerosmith" (anything before Permanent Vacation, but specifically anything before the band started to splinter, around the time of Live Bootleg from 1978) and "new Aerosmith", (Permanent Vacation and on).

And, AC/DC hasn't tried to get a hit by re-writing the same ballad (at least) four times: "Angel" begat "What it Takes", "Cryin'", "Crazy" and "Amazing".

And Angus and Malcom Young are a more explosive guitar combo than Joe Perry and Brad Whitford.

And Bon Scott could drink the Twins under the table and still manage to do a better cover of "Baby Please Don't Go" while vomitting blood.
